Earlier, in May 2026, the Nordex Group commenced production at its new blade manufacturing facility in Turkey. The facility is expected to produce up to 1,200 rotor blades annually at full capacity. The facility will manufacture rotor blades for the advanced N163 and N175 turbine models designed for medium to strong wind conditions. The facility will initially supply blades for projects awarded under Turkey’s YEKA-4 and YEKA-5 renewable energy programmes, with plans to export blades to support European wind energy projects.
