In January 2025, Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp) inaugurated its Manah 2 Solar Independent Power Project in Manah, Oman. The project has an installed peak capacity of 588 MW. The project is backed by a 20-year 500 MW power purchase agreement with Nama Power and Water Procurement Company.
