Velto Renewables (Velto) has inked a partnership agreement with Q Energy to acquire a portfolio of large-scale renewable energy projects across Europe. Under this agreement, Velto has acquired a portfolio of solar and wind projects situated in France with a combined capacity of approximately 130 MW. Additionally, the two companies also expect to finalise the transaction of approximately 400 MW in Spain and Portugal in the coming weeks.

Furthermore, the initial portfolio consists of five projects that are currently under construction by Q ENERGY. These projects are situated in France and consist of two assets with solar photovoltaic technology and two assets with wind technology. It also consists of Les Ilots Blandin floating photovoltaic park. Additionally, these projects are expected to reach commercial operation between 2025 and early 2026. Once operational, they are expected to generate 210,000 MWh of energy annually.

Velto Energy is a Europe-based renewable energy independent power producer. It currently owns more than 280 MW of operating and under-construction solar PV and wind projects in Spain and France.
