Vena Energy and Vivant Energy Corp. have finalised a partnership contract with Aboitiz Renewables Inc. (ARI), the renewables arm of Philippine power company Aboitiz Power Corp., for a 206 MW onshore wind project in the Philippines. Reportedly, the joint venture intends to develop, build, and run the San Isidro wind project.

Furthermore, the wind farm will be based in San Isidro, Northern Samar, in the Visayas, and will feature 33 turbines, each powered at 6.25 MW. Moreover, work on the project is about to begin, with financial closure expected in the fourth quarter of 2023. The wind farm is planned to be operational in the first quarter of 2025.

In October 2022, Vena Energy planned to build the Marlin Offshore Wind Project, a 2 GW offshore power facility in Victoria, Australia. Located 23 km from the Victorian Coast in the Gippsland Basin, the offshore wind site was first identified by the company in 2017. The site’s construction projects are expected to start in 2028 and will be implemented in phases.
