Ameresco Sunel Energy is the contractor in Lightsource bp’s 560 MWp Enipeas solar project in Greece. The Enipeas project is in the Larissa and Fthiotida regions and is expected to be complete within 18 to 24 months. The project consists of two clusters: Skopia, a 400 MWp southern cluster, and Kalithea, a 160 MWp northern cluster, with approximately 970,000 photovoltaic modules to be installed.

Once completed, the project will generate 900 GWh of electricity annually, supplying power to 225,000 households. It will reduce carbon emissions by 379 kilotonnes each year. Moreover, Ameresco Sunel Energy SA, serving as the EPC and O&M provider, is progressing the project through sustainable practices and strong support for the local community. Ameresco Sunel Energy is a joint venture between Ameresco and Sunel Group.

In July 2024, Ameresco secured a contract with Snohomish County Public Utility District to build a 25 MW battery energy storage system. The 25-year agreement designates Ameresco as the asset owner and Snohomish PUD as the exclusive customer.
