The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero of UK has announced the results of a clean energy auction, spanning solar, onshore wind, and tidal projects. TotalEnergies has entered into two long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) to supply 1,000 MW of solar capacity to Google for its data centres in Texas over a 15-year period. The agreements cover renewable electricity generation of approximately 28 TWh during the contract term.
