CVC DIF has completed the acquisition of the Gabriela hybrid project in Northern Chile. The project was acquired from Grenergy. The project comprises 272 MW of installed solar photovoltaic capacity and 1,100 MWh of battery energy storage (BESS) capacity. The project is also supported by a 15-year dollar denominated, inflation-indexed hybrid power purchase agreement.
In August 2026, CVC DIF, through DIF Infrastructure VII, supported the merger of Verdant Energy and Aura Power to create an independent power producer focused on solar and BESS in the UK. The platform will have approximately 1 GW of solar and BESS capacity along with a 10 GW development pipeline, with selective development of Aura Power’s BESS projects continuing across Europe. CVC DIF has secured financing from Eiffel Investment Group to support the platform’s expansion.
In July 2026, CVC DIF agreed to sell Klara Renewables to Actis. Klara Renewables has a 171 MW wind portfolio in Poland. The portfolio also offers around 275 MW of hybridisation potential through co-located solar photovoltaic and BESS.
