Infinity Power and Hassan Allam Utilities Energy have signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) for the Ras Shokeir wind project. The project, located in Egypt, will add 1 GW of wind generation capacity to the grid. Furthermore, once operational, the project is expected to supply clean electricity to more than 1.2 million households while offsetting over 1.36 million tonnes of carbon emissions annually.

In June 2026, Hassan Allam Construction, in a joint venture with Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy, was awarded the $570 million EPC contract for the West Minya Solar Plant in Egypt. The project comprises 1,000 MWac of solar capacity and 600 MWh of battery energy storage system and is being developed by Hassan Allam Utilities’ Energy Platform. 

In February 2026, Hassan Allam Construction was awarded the construction of the Benban Solar Plant, developed by Hassan Allam Utilities’ Energy Platform in partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Meridiam, and Infinity Power. The project will comprise 200 MW of solar capacity and 120 MWh of battery energy storage. The project is expected to commence operations in the second half of 2026.
