Renewable Energy Systems (RES), based in the UK, has sold its Işklar Wind Energy project in Türkiye (Turkey) to Dost Enerji for nearly €50 million. The 50 MW wind farm, which is situated in Gediz, Kutahya Province, has nine wind turbines and is scheduled to be online in 2024. The project was filed by RES for consideration in the 2017 Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEA) wind capacity tenders. In April 2022, the wind energy project obtained a licence. From its portfolio of Zero Carbon wind projects, RES also plans to market a total of 235 MW across four projects. For its 185 MW operational project portfolio, RES has also entered into asset management agreements with Dost Enerji.

In August 2022, ScottishPower Renewables commenced construction on the 1.4 GW East Anglia III (EA III) offshore wind farm in the UK. The project would be part of the 3.3 GW East Anglia Hub macro-complex, which will involve $7.9 billion investment, and be situated offshore off the Suffolk coast. The wind power facility would help the UK government achieve its goal of installing 50 GW of offshore wind capacity by 2030 and will provide enough electricity to cover the needs of 1.3 million homes.
