Sonnedix has secured €730 million in financing for renewable energy projects across France, Italy, Portugal and Spain. The financing will be used for the refinancing, optimisation and construction of the projects across the four countries. The financing covers around 540 MW of solar capacity and two battery energy storage system (BESS) projects.

Moreover, Italy accounts for the largest share of the financed portfolio, with over 350 MW of the allocated capacity. The financing was arranged with the participation of Allied Irish Banks (AIB), Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (CACIB), Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), Internationale Nederlanden Groep N.V. (ING), Intesa Sanpaolo, Sabadell, Santander CIB, Societe Generale and UniCredit.

In April 2026, Sonnedix signed three power purchase agreements with Copec EMOAC for the Sonnedix Librillo project in Chile. The project features a 117 MW standalone BESS with 5-hour duration, enabling a total storage capacity of 643.8 MWh per day. The project is expected to commence operations by April 2027.
