RGE and TotalEnergies ink agreement to develop solar and battery energy storage project in Indonesia

RGE and TotalEnergies have entered into a co-investment agreement to develop, build, and operate a solar photovoltaic power plant with a battery energy storage system in Riau Province, Indonesia. The two companies have entered into this agreement through their equally owned joint venture, Singa Renewables. The utility-scale project will be constructed in phases. Senvion India bags 420 MW wind turbine order from Continuum Green Energy

Senvion India has won an order from Continuum Green Energy for 100 units of its 4.2M160 wind turbine generators, marking the conversion of a previously conditional agreement signed in September 2024. The deal involves 50 turbines initially confirmed and 50 additional optional units, now fully committed. With a total installed capacity of 420 MW, deliveries for these turbines are scheduled to commence in April 2026.

Hyundai Motor Group to build waste to hydrogen ecosystem in Indonesia

Hyundai Motor Group has developed an action plan to establish a waste-to hydrogen ecosystem in West Java Province, Indonesia. It has partnered with Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of National Development Planning, and PT Pertamina (Persero) for this initiative. Furthermore, Hyundai Motor Group will establish an on-site hydrogen refueling station using PT Pertamina’s existing compressed natural gas infrastructure.

GreenYellow, along with STOA and DEG, has achieved the financial close of a 189 MWp asset platform, YieldCo. YieldCo is a Singapore-based asset platform dedicated to operating self-consumption solar assets in Vietnam and Thailand. Furthermore, GreenYellow will continue to be the majority industrial shareholder with 51 per cent share in the asset platform. STOA and DEG together own 49 per cent stake in the asset platform.

Octopus Energy to develop 20 solar farms in South Korea 

Octopus Energy Generation is backing Skygreen Energy to develop up to 20 small to medium-sized solar farms in South Korea in the next two years. These solar farms are expected to generate 140 MW of clean energy. The energy generated will be sufficient to power approximately 45,000 homes annually. Furthermore, this solar investment in South Korea will accelerate Octopus Energy’s plans for the Asian renewables market.
