EDP plans Euro 24 billion investment to double its wind and solar portfolio by 2025

Falck commissions 74 MW wind farm in Sweden

Falck Renewables has that it has connected its 74.1 MW Brattmyrliden wind farm in Sweden to the grid. The project is located in the Ornskoldsvik municipality and is set to generate 263.5 GWh annually which will power about 52,700 homes in the country. The project is owned by Falck Renewables’ subsidiary Brattmyrliden Vind AB and consists of 19 N133 wind turbines supplied by Nordex SE. The turbines are currently in the final testing phase before it reaches full commercial operations by the end of June 2021.

Avangrid Renewables announced the commissioning of its 154.8 MW Tatanka Ridge Wind Farm. The project consists of 56 wind turbines and is located in Deuel County, S.D., northeast of Brookings. Further, the wind farm is owned by Tatanka Ridge Wind, LLC, a joint venture between Avangrid Renewables and WEC Energy Group. The wind farm has penned a power purchase agreement with the Dairyland Power Cooperative for 51.6 MW of its capacity.

GE Renewable Energy has secured a 27.2 MW contract to supply 8 units of its 3 MW-137 wind turbines to support construction of the Phuoc Minh Wind Farm, located in Ninh Thuan, in the South Central Region of Vietnam. A consortium of PowerChina Huadong Engineering Corporation, Henste Engineering and IPC Group will provide full engineering, procurement and construction services for the project.

Senvion sells Indian operations to Dubai-based GREDHCL
