Aker Solutions has secured a contract from Tussa Energi to supply all electromechanical equipment for the Tussa II hydropower plant. The contract is valued between NOK 0.5 billion and NOK 1.5 billion. The plant is located in western Norway. Frontier Power Energy Holdings has acquired the rights to the Ayr and Busby long-duration energy storage (LDES) projects from Apatura Energy. The onshore wind auction awarded approximately 2.5 GW across 270 winning bids from 628 submissions totaling roughly 6.4 GW, significantly oversubscribing the 2.5 GW tender.
