SEG Solar has announced plans to build a 4.6 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Greater Houston, Texas. The facility will increase SEG’s US solar module manufacturing capacity to 10.6 GW and will support next-generation heterojunction (HJT) solar module production. The Federal Network Agency of Germany has announced the results of its March 1, 2026 solar PV auction which was oversubscribed. The tender covered 2,295 MW of ground-mounted and special-structure solar projects. A total of 532 bids of 4,622 MW capacity were submitted, while 268 bids totaling 2,299 MW secured awards. Additionally, 39 bids were excluded from the auction process.
