OX2 has commenced construction of the Muswellbrook solar farm and battery project in New South Wales, Australia. The project features 135 MWac of solar capacity and 100 MW of battery energy storage system (BESS). The project has also secured a long-term hybrid power purchase agreement with an international offtaker covering both solar generation and battery storage. Meta and DESRI sign 850 MW clean power PPAs in US

DESRI and Meta have signed 850 MW of solar and battery storage power purchase agreements (PPAs) in US. The agreement includes 500 MW in Oklahoma, 200 MW in Texas and 150 MW in Mississippi. With these agreements, the total contracted solar and battery storage capacity between the companies has increased to approximately 2,575 MW in US. Previously contracted projects between the companies include 150 MW in Texas, 300 MW in Utah and 100 MW in New Mexico.

Grenergy secures $268 million for solar plus storage project in Chile

Grenergy has secured $268 million in non-recourse financing for the Monte Águila solar plus storage project in Chile. The financing was arranged through an international banking syndicate led by BNP Paribas, alongside KfW IPEX-Bank, Rabobank, Natixis, and Scotiabank. Elements Green acquires 300 MW BESS project in Scotland

Elements Green has acquired the Newarthill battery energy storage system (BESS) project located near Motherwell in Scotland. The project, acquired from Geocore, has a 300 MW storage capacity with a planned two-hour duration and the potential to expand to four hours duration. The project received planning approval in February 2025. The project will connect through an adjacent 275kV substation, with a grid offer secured from NESO under the ongoing grid reform process.
